MKII Hellion-Baku

Task: Studio Photography, Lifestyle Photography

Launch campaign imagery for the MKII Hellion-Baku, a WWII era inspired wristwatch. The watch is tribute to the underwater demolition teams (UDTs) the precursor to the modern day U.S. Navy SEAL teams of today.

This production spanned over multiple days, shot on location in Virginia Beach, the USS Becuna submarine and USS Wisconsin battleship. The images are heavily inspired by the training and mission set of the UDTs: reconnaissance and demolition missions for amphibious landings, particularly in the Pacific theater.

The Hellion-BAKU is in collaboration with Project Recover, a non-profit organization whose mission is to find, recover and repatriate American service members who are still MIA from past conflicts.
